Contact EBH

What happens next?
After submitting the contact form or appointment request form, we will respond to your inquiry by email within 5 business days. If we do not feel we are able to help at any point, we will try to suggest other practitioners or resources. If our areas of focus are a good fit with your concerns, you will be provided with an appointment time or approximate wait time if there is a waitlist. Please confirm your appointment within 2 business days; the time frame offered may be shorter in the case of filling a cancellation. Make sure that you use an email or phone number you check regularly.
If you do not confirm within the two day time frame, your slot may be offered to another client to ensure sessions don’t go unfilled. Don’t worry if this happens; you will remain at the top of the waitlist for the next available appointment. If you do not respond to an appointment offer, either confirming or letting us know you can’t make it, you will not be offered any further appointments until we hear back from you. If you can’t make an appointment time that’s offered to you, don’t worry! You will be offered as many as needed to get you in when you respond. Being on the waitlist does not prevent you from reaching out to other psychologists; we want you to get help as quickly as possible. If you have found other services or want to be removed from the waitlist, please let us know by email or phone.
After you confirm your first appointment, you will be sent an invitation to set up an account through Jane, the booking and payment software we use. From this account, please review and submit your consent form as well as uploading your direct pay completed consent form if you want us to bill your insurance benefits directly. Please note that you are responsible for any amounts not covered by your insurance. You may also choose to upload payment information, in which case your card will be run in the 24 hours after the session.
If you will be attending virtual appointments, instructions on using the Jane video service are here. Please ensure that you are in a confidential environment free of distractions for sessions and inform us of your location in case of emergency.
If you will be coming in person, please see the instructions that follow on how to get to the office and park if needed. You can check in to your appointment on arrival using the QR code. Please help yourself to tea or water and make yourself comfortable in our waiting room; your clinician will be out at your appointment time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes early or need a bit of time afterwards to decompress, there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby.
Getting to EBH
Our office is conveniently located within a short walk of several major bus routes and skytrain stations.

If you will be driving to EBH, there is no parking available in the building but there is a pay lot in an adjacent building that can be accessed by the alley behind 938 Howe Street and several other pay lots nearby. There is also street parking available on Howe but please follow the posted signs. Do not park on the street if your appointment starts any later than 1:45PM as you don’t want worries of being towed on your mind during a therapy session.
